Market analysis and customer feedback revealed that existing outdoor GIS applications at high voltage level show failures such as leakage, rust, and malfunction, which can cause long power outages and tremendous financial losses. Some of the root causes for such failures are harsh environmental conditions, such as long-time exposure to sunshine, cyclic temperatures changes, heavy rain and wind, and corrosion. TGOOD`s 252kV modular substation is answer to all those practical issues. TGOOD offers installation of HV GIS inside the e-house.
This provides conducive operational environment for GIS. When compared against traditional brick and mortar construction method of building substation, this modular solution considerably reduces the footprint, construction time, CAPEX and OPEX.
