TGOOD Global, a leader and solution provider for prefabricated substations and EV charging systems, announced today an expansion of their international power distribution switchgear portfolio, offering the best-in-class performance of products designed to meet increasing capacity requirements specific to the growth and needs of renewables.
The TGS40.5, a type of Ring Main Unit (RMU) certified to IEC 62271-200:2011, is a compact, innovative medium voltage gas-insulated switchgear rated up to 40.5kV, 1250A, 31.5kA, 4s, with an internal arc classification of up to AFLR 31.5kA/1s. It can be widely applied in utility substations, light industries, buildings and especially in battery energy storage (BESS), solar and wind farm power plants, thanks to its design for high performance.
The 40.5kV conductive parts of the RMU are placed in the sealed stainless-steel tank filled with insulated gas. Its highly visible mechanical indicators, comprehensive interlocks and the international third-party type test certificate guarantees its enhanced safety for operators.
The TGS40.5 RMU offering also includes both extendable and non-extendable versions for convenient future expansion of the substation.
The designed functions, such as load break switch, circuit breaker, voltage measurement and switchgear coupling, enable users with a flexible choice for a diversified configuration.
The globally announced TGS40.5 is currently available in Central Asia, Africa, Europe, Southeast Asia, Australia, and the Middle East. TGOOD continues to re-affirm its best-in-class delivery time with quality products supported by local engineering hubs.
