On 19th March 2018, TGOOD won the project of 252kV step-up modular substation offshore wind farm in Putian, Fujian Province of China. It is valued at about 60 million RMB and demonstrates another project after the solution launch at the end of last year.
Putian’s subtropical climate characterizes hot temperatures, high humidity rates as well as immense rainfalls. As for these local conditions, TGOOD obtains the corresponding strategies to overcome the challenges. Anti-rust technology applies by fulfilling the “maintenance-free” promise at the same time. Furthermore, TGOOD’s 252kV modular substation creates an outstanding overall operation environment due to the shift of the HV GIS operation and power transformer from the outside to the inside. Compared to traditional substations, TGOOD adopts prefabricated modular design to be more convenient for pre-assembly, manufacturing, transportation, on-site installation and construction. This leads to shortened on-site workload and reduces the project execution time significantly.
It is another 252kV modular substation project in China which provides full prefabricated E-houses. As the leader in prefabricated substation manufacturing, TGOOD has made remarkable achievements in the substation market based on the values of being “fast, flexible and economical”.
The project strengthens TGOOD’s leading position of high-end manufacturing in the industry and gives a solid foundation for modular substation execution in harsh environments and high voltage networks. It expands the experience in constructing substations under different ambient conditions and expands TGOOD’s brand influence in the field.
